Some Observations While On Watch in 2010

Here are some observations made while watching for the sign for the Bride, as of about halfway through the day.

The revelation of the lawless one (2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Revelation 13:1-10) will involve the opening of a portal between heaven and earth through which the "anointing" will come. This portal was signaled today in the news, on this anniversary of biblical events that model the scene.

  • Ancient doorway to afterlife discovered in Egypt - It's a return trip through such a door that I'm really watching for.
  • Geneva atom smasher set for record collision - According to the CERN Press Office, a webcast of live footage of the effort (Webcast schedule for the LHC First Physics event - 30 March 2010) is subject to change but tentatively scheduled for 8:30 am Central European Summer Time (CEST). During this session they intend to begin at the engergy level triple the previous record, 7 TeV (3.5 TeV per beam) The energy numbers are particularly interesting because, if this is as some of us suspect, the opening of a stargate through which the antichrist Apollyon (the sought after "god particle"?) may be birthed into our realm with a subsequently incarnation in the body of its prepared host marks the beginning of a prophesied 3.5 year period. Within an apppointed Shemittah, this will span from year 2.5 to year 6.

Here's more news making the headlines today that speaks to me of the immediate impact of  the emergence of the Beast, when a decree is made (see Haman - book of Esther) to persecute those who will dare to stand in the name of the true Messiah.

The term "Christian Militia" is really an oxymoron. Activity modeled after Peter, defending Christ's arrest in Gethsemane with a sword, must certainly come. Yet, those who obey His commands and trust in Him, with His gracious help, will accept the Lord's provision, knowing their reward will be great!

24) Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.
25) For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
26) For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
27) For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and WILL THEN REPAY EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS.
28) Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man
Matthew 16:24-28

In watch cycles past I've learned to watch two characters in particular. In my perspective there has been no lead up to this day that compares to 2008 or even 2001. Recent news reports give me no expectation that the necessary interaction between them is imminent.

  • Pope signals won't be intimidated by abuse critics - With the False Prophet engaging in damage control (in this article dated Sun Mar 28, 5:26 pm ET) he's not poised for imminent action in the role of "John the Baptist" which requires the public perception of worthiness.
  • What Bill Clinton's Mea Culpa Should Mean Surely, "Mr. Champion of Everyman's Cause" is also "Mr. Humility." In this timely article, the writer penned: "It is especially fitting that President Clinton's mea culpa comes as the Jewish community worldwide prepares to observe Passover. The story of Passover is a stark reminder that communities cannot rely solely on others to provide for their needs. Until people are empowered to help themselves, in-kind assistance from the outside is useful only in the immediate aftermath of acute emergencies. Long-term needs must be met principally through a community-led approach. The lesson we take from Passover is that once the Israelites spoke out against slavery their prayers for freedom were finally answered." The blind lead and the blind follow them. When the greater stories of Passover are revealed those who have been content to follow the lies that keep them in the dark will be ashamed in the presence of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, who was slain as the Lamb of God. He is the only one worthy of our reliance, and reliance upon Him alone is true humility.
